“Borderland” is a dance performance that touches on themes such as mythology, feminism, absurdity and what arises in the meeting between material and body. It is a duet that takes place in an art landscape where reality and fantasy meet. For almost an hour, the artworks come to life and move through the space like a physical body. We witness the transformation before us: how immobile objects acquire their own consciousness and agency, questioning the conventions of the external gaze about the human and non-human body.

"Borderland" was a site specific gallery performance performed in relation to the exhibition "Gränsland" by the artists Rio Drop, Antonia Kjellarsson and Daria Edström at Konstfrämjandet Bergslagen in Örebro, Sweden as part of the culture night 2024.
